{ Narrative } Tiburon is a dark barren industrial site located on the Bay. I’m trying to bring vibrants and excitement back with the design Aesthetic. By studying the site I was able to successfully manipulate the form and skin.
{ Visitor Center } create a unique opportunity for a designer to creatively use both the environment and structure to showcase educational information to the visiting public.
{ Sustainability } is a great design philosophy that takes both the environment and natural resources into consideration. This is achieved by incorporating passive design: dramatically decrease the overall carbon foot-print of the building.
{ Objective } explore the design of the project in a natural setting with programmatic, climatic, and topographic challenges. I learned how to assess and integrate the context and physical characteristics of the site: orientation, climate, topography, vegetation, and views.
