{ Parkour } activity or sport of moving rapidly through an area, typically in an urban environment, negotiating obstacles by running, jumping, and climbing.
{ Mutation } is the action or process of mutating: slowly changing over a period of time.
{ Objective } emphasize the design process and rule driven design methodology. Students will develop two through four dimensional drawings and experiment with model making techniques based on specific methods of design. Focus will be placed on understanding the behavioral aspects of space and structure.
{ Narrative } Culinary and Parkour Center is an experimental space that explores the mutation of activity informed through the process of coagulation, where liquid substances harden over time. The program is shaped by the layering of the skin, which inherits the attributes of the behavioral conditions that bifurcate or fluctuate spaces. The circulation and movement through these programmed areas are denoted by the behavioral response of the skin enabling a sense of division throughout the various pathways and routes within.
